Wednesday, October 9th was the first of four parent nights for middle school students this year. Along with the students in attendance there were eleven parents. Denis Paquet and Tom Murray were invited to present the evening lesson. They are both active members in our parish and they belong to the Men’s Bible Study group.
Our topic for the night was to show how important it is to pray as a church community and as a family. Since, October is also the month of the Most Holy Rosary, students and parents were shown how to pray the Rosary and we went up into the church and prayed the Rosary as a community. This was such a wonderful opportunity having Tom and Denis join our class. It showed how well we work together to use the talents from our church members to help our youth on their faith journey!
