We just found out that one of our retired priests, who assists here at St. Francis and at St. Ben’s is celebrating a spectacular 70th Anniversary of his ordination. Fr. Mike Dineen, with his quiet presence and his wonderful personality has been a continual gift to St. Francis and St. Ben’s Parishes doing Masses and Reconciliations to assist Fr. Mark and Fr. Sergio. We are planning a reception for Fr. Mike sometime in June. We would like to start collecting anniversary cards and thank you cards for all that Fr. Mike has done for both our parishes. There will be a basket outside the chapel area on Sunday, May 26 and Sunday, June 2, to collect those cards to be presented to Fr. Mike at the, to be announced reception, in June.
