St Francis de Sales Knights of Columbus would like to honor the Jim and Kathleen Dobbler Family with the November Family of the Month award. Jim has been a member of the Knights of Columbus for 3 years. He has taken an active part in all activities of the council, by attending meetings, helping with our annual tootsie roll fund raiser and assisting in all social activities. Jim is an integral part of our Monthly breakfast; annual brat stands at the county fair as well as corporate communion. Jim attends mass regularly with his Wife Kathleen and has a Christian spirit to help the less fortunate. Kathleen is a member of the St Francis de Sales Parish Council. She has an active role on the council that includes the Parish Festival and special projects at the church. She is the liaison for the human concerns committee and is active with many other parish activities. Together, Jim and Kathleen exhibit the Catholic-Christian spirit of treating people with dignity and respect. They also help those in need with financial, spiritual and emotional support.
The Knights of Columbus Family of the Month program promotes and supports the development of strong and vibrant families by recognizing the good work being done every day in the homes of our neighbors. Recognized families outwardly exhibit strong ties of love and faith, exemplifying Catholic family values and making meaningful contributions to their parish and larger community.
Again, congratulations to the entire Dobbler family! May they grow further in their love for one another and continue to strive to emulate the blessed model set forth for us by the Holy Family.
