Lucky Ticket Raffle

What is a reverse raffle anyway? A reverse raffle is a raffle, but backwards.
Although we draw the winning tickets in the beginning, they aren’t revealed until the ticket is actually in the countdown. The winners (and losers!) are announced backwards from 300th ticket to the first place prize. The suspense builds as people realize when they are still in the game. This all takes place during a pasta dinner at Celebration on Wells. It’s a lot of fun!

What are the prizes? The grand prize is $10,000 cash! Other prizes (which will be awarded every 25th draw) include a 49″ Smart TV, a gift card donated by Next Door Pub, 4 Brewers Tickets and Parking Pass donated by SPX Flow, a Lake Geneva Charm donated by China West Jewelers, 4 Badger football tickets donated by Tom and Kathie Murray, a Lake Geneva Book Basket, an Apple Watch donated by Martha Cucco/@properties, a gift card to Fitzgerald’s Fish Boil, an overnight stay donated by the Geneva Inn, Dog Bed and Treats donated by Paws for Treats, Wine Tasting for 10 donated by Studio Winery, and a motorcycle rental and basket donated by Harley Davidson. Your odds are pretty good to be a winner!

What is the deal with dinner? Your ticket includes a delicious pasta dinner for 1-2 people at Celebration on Wells. There is a cash bar. Seating is limited so we can only offer dinner to raffle ticket holders.

Why is it on January 24? January 24 is the Feast of St. Francis de Sales. This is the second year for this fun event and it seems fitting to once again celebrate our patron saint. Plus it’s freezing outside and this is fun thing to do!

Do I need to be present to win? No! We’ll call you!

Where do the proceeds go? Right back to our Parish Operating fund. The monies are used toward staff salaries, utilities, etc. We like this fundraiser because it doesn’t take a ton of volunteer power and our parishioners can relax and enjoy themselves. When we sell all 300 tickets, we will make over $15,000.

How can I help? If you are able to sell a friend, co-worker, or relative a ticket, that would be great! People can pay by credit card, check, or cash. Tickets can be purchased on Sundays in the office or by calling/coming into the office during the week.

Good luck to all!
