St. Francis de Sales Parish in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, seeks a part-time Director of Religious Education. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a plan for comprehensive catechesis for youth in grades K-8 through long and short term goals, as well as developing Sacramental Preparation. This position reports directly to the Pastor and recruits, trains, and supervises volunteer catechists and collaborates as a team member with other parish staff.
A Bachelor’s degree in Theology/Religious Education or related field is preferred, with 3-5 years experience in religious education. Bilingual a plus. The successful candidate will be a practicing Catholic, with a solid knowledge and passion for the Catholic faith. We are looking for a motivated and welcoming individual with excellent organizational and leadership skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of students and parents.
