Please pray for our teens who will be attending the Stuebenville at the Lake Youth Conference this weekend July 22-24 in Kenosha. There will be 2,500 teens gathered to pray together, listen to dynamic speakers, adore the Lord in adoration, praise God through singing and dancing, attend mass and most attendees receive the Sacrament of
Reconciliation. For some this is an opportunity experience God on a personal level for the first time and others develop a greater zeal to be a witness for Christ.
After the conference concludes on Sunday over a dozen teens (about half of which will have attended the conference) will be heading to Harlan, Kentucky to serve the poor and elderly with Catholic Mission Trips, Inc. They will be spending the week painting and helping with light construction or landscape work as needed. “For even the Son of man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45)
